Mission Statement

The single most important mission of The Woolly Lamb is to serve the community by providing a warm and welcoming place to meet new friends, to feel a cozy spot to relax and enjoy working on a current knitting or needlepoint project, to view new yarns, and to be inspired to start a new project.

The staff of The Woolly Lamb strives to provide a warm and attractive shop for customers to learn new techniques for knitting, crocheting and needlepoint.  We provide a huge selection of finer knitting and crocheting yarns, and a large selection of hand-painted needlepoint canvases together with a varied selection of high-end needlepoint threads and fibers.

The Woolly Lamb is recognized for its friendly and helpful staff that all have expertise in knitting and needlepoint.  The staff welcomes new customers and those who are loyal customers.  We often have new customers from distant locations that have heard about The Woolly Lamb.  Instruction can be either in a variety of classes that is ever changing or by private instruction.  Several knitting groups gather each week to socialize and knit and make new friends.  We also sponsor several charity knitting events each year.
